Get The Hal Off Me!!!

I guess I’m finally going to give in to peer pressure and do this blog thing. I swore I never would but with Liddy in school all day and Halle still taking two naps, I’m finding I have a lot of free time. There are probably a million other things that I could be doing with my free-time like cleaning my house, doing my laundry or "finding myself." The problem is you can only spend so much time doing that stuff and isn’t this productive too? I mean it’s a way to keep in touch with friends, journal, let family see pictures . . . . I’m sure I could kind find several reasons to justify the time I’m going to end up spending on the computer:) Please be patient with me as I probably won’t post as often as some of you do.

Maybe I’ll start by explaining the title of my blog. I have to little girls, Liddy who is 6 and Halle (that’s Hal-ee not Hay-lee) who is 16 months. Well Halle’s nick name is "Hal" and we like to joke around using "Hal" in place of "Hell." So we’re sitting in Stake Conference a few weeks ago and Halle is being restless and crawling all over Liddy. Liddy gets annoyed and says very loudly, "Get the hal off Me!" Now I don’t think she really meant what it sounds like, I think she meant "Get my sister off me." Either way it was funny coming out of her 6 year old mouth. You’d probably have to be there to think it was funny but it’s just been a joke in our family ever since.
