My Liddy

So Liddy started school four weeks ago and it’s been really weird having her gone. It’s also been really nice because I have a lot of freedom not having to keep her entertained or hearing her complain about going places and being bored. At the same time, I miss having her around to entertain Halle. She’s a great kid and I’m glad she’s so happy to be at school. Liddy is taking a Jazz dance class which she loves and she is also taking piano lessons which is sometimes a challenge but she’s really doing well. Her favorite thing about playing the piano is being able to play Primary songs. Liddy is a very friendly kid. She makes new friends every day and tells me about it all afternoon. She is the kid who never stops talking, the one who drives the teacher crazy because she always has something to say. Ha Ha! We love her anyway:) Here is a picture of her on her first day of first grade.

My happy girl!

On Lake Huron, near Mike's parents house.

In August we went to Virginia to see my Grandma and Grandpa Butterworth for Grandpa's 90th birthday. This is Liddy with each of them.

While in Virginia, Mike and Liddy took a trip to D.C. Here is Liddy at one of the Smithsonian Museums, next to an elephant's leg bone.

Wow Riss, she looks so much older than the last time that I saw her. I can't believe that she is in first grade already!
